Naut, for once I think your closing quip is serious.. I'm with you on the remedial English program, even if you did make it up.. although 'thyself' has a certain satisfying 16th century ring to it..

Women aren't always motivated by money -- we get satisfaction from

the work itself, from seeing results for our efforts. In my mind that's a contributing factor to the generally lower salaries paid to women than men. It's not just politics or economics.

So motivating young impressionable girls with cash is a genius idea. Enabling them to finish growing themselves before they become mothers is a great idea on so many levels.

Well, if that's what it takes to prevent them ruining not only their own lives, but the lives of their unfortunate off-spring.....

The program has implications of both future shock and the ethical question of economics, coming into play in social programs. A person can only hope for a good outcome. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

I can't decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing.. probably somewhere in between. I know.. I am a fence straddler.

it's a crazy world. No one wants to take care of themselves any more.

What is this world coming to...  Its kind of sad, that they would have to pay these girls to stay in school... when school should be fun and interesting and attending it reward enough to stay with it...  so sad...but still the idea  is  economically sound since all these girls if pregnant before they can take care of themselves would have to be taken care of with tax dollars  Great post xoxoxo
