Whatever his other attributes, Andrew is a tactless man and a lousy father...

Maybe he could work at the carwash? I commented on your comment in my last post.

I'll read this in depth later. I was just reading your comment on my post about Mary's house and now I am intrigued by your views about visions. Do you believe in them, do you think they are real real or just in the imagination of an overwrought person's mind? I'd love to hear.

I think so too..it is kind of awkward doing that to a child. How insensitive. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and thinking the same along my lines..lol.

It was definitely awkward! I almost think the father was trying to cite you as a good example but he botched it badly! sam

Making contemptuous remarks like that is enough to ruin anybody's self-confidence. Poor young man and how embarrassing for you.

How sad.  That sort of comment only makes a son (or daughter) more rebellious, and more determined to do the opposite of what a parent wants.

he may be as frustrated as I am with my daughter, I might of said something like that and I know it would of pissed her off

I wonder why it is that folk seem to think it's OK to be rude to relatives? They say thigs to relatives they'd never dream of saying to anyone else. I feel for that guy's son.
