I think we can learn a lot from people in the "70's club". (or 80's) I enjoy working for an elderly lady, I'd guess is in the 70's.

Oh, how amazing and energetic is that? Makes me feel "guilty" of how lazy us young ones can be... but frankly, when and if I'm in my 70's, I wish to be a retired man relaxing on an island...

That's very impressive. Good to know there are people who will employ older folks and who can recognise their worth.

What a group of interesting characters. I bet their life experiences have made them a joy to work with. I'd take a 70-something over a teenager any day. Thanks for all your comments on my blogs, I really appreciate it.

Your posts are always extremely interesting; but this one was even more interesting than usual. In this country we would very, very rarely find such elderly senior citizens still hard at work. Quite a few of the more active ones do voluntary work in many different clubs and charities. Young people, students, are employed in work places like your's.

This is interesting. My brother in law is 77 and he has worked full time for MacDonalds in his town since he was 60 and retired early. It is a very big MacDonalds and the Grayhound Bus line terminal combined. He is the grounds and building supervisor and I have never seen a cleaner, nicer kept MacDonalds.
