Democratic etiquette in the Bush era...

The enemy has been engaged.  For quite awhile actually.  Pseudo-men love long engagements . . . the brilliant clarity of pundits pimping for their favorite charity.  Ah, the sweet smell of all the b.s. floating on cushions of politicians' stentorian bursts of hot air. A pox on all their houses.  And their outhouses, as well . . . just for good measure.

Meanwhile, back on earth, good people, in near-dire straits, have begun to awaken and see all that they can expect is. . . nada.  The pros on either side know only how to shade the truth and prolong the competition.  I don't think those in Washington hardly stop to really care about our needs, treating them as if they were goods to be traded at a D.C. Congressional "swap" meet they label "In Session".

One of these days (or nights) realizatiion will settle upon many people and the weight of their collective follies just might crush them -- justly.   joab

I didn't hear an outburst like Joe Wilson's
I heard vocal disagreement with this worst president of all time -- his proposal to privatize Social Security -- and I think I would be vocal too.

Oh yes -- are you going to not draw Social Security?  I am sure you are total against it.
