I haven't been around much, and missed your earlier posts on your daughters thesis defense, but she has my heartiest congratulations on her success! Having gone through the same process, I can truly sympathize! And my congrats for her mother as well, of course...

Thank you for taking the time to check it out. It's a limited survey of how Copenhagen citizens relate to religion, both formal (i.e. church membership), practice and belief. 'People' often assume that the Danes are becoming less and less religious. My daughter was examing that assumption and her findings were that although they are less interested in attending church, they have other ways of showing and practising their religiosity. So in short it the answers you get depend on the questions you ask.
What will happen next is a good question, one of the ones put by the external examiner. That all depends whether anybody wants to continue her line of research and see for example, whether her findings can be applied to people living in the provinces.
