sassy, I thought that everyone on Earth was busy living and
cleaning up messes and taking care of business. You mean that you have less to do? I'm jealous. Thanks for stopping by.

You are quite the busy person
All that and blogging too? Geez! I can barely keep up with the laundry. Very nice blog.

I missed you
Ben and I do love your stories, even the sad parts. One day when that van breaks down I'll throw my tools in trunk and come down there and fix it with ya. I'd love to see/purchase some of your art, how do I see it to do that.?

I couldn't read past the first couple of paragraphs
Soooo sad.  I couldn't bear to read on past learning of the abortion spay surgery.   *sob*  But it is better for the puppies than to suffer all their lives, I guess.  Still, it's sad.

Oh, and I discovered that, because I took Autumn directly from the Reserva

tion myself and didn't get her through Animal Crusaders, who usually gather up dogs out there, test and spay them and then place them, they will not pay for any of these things that she now needs. C'est ma vie.

They said that I should have had them go get the three dogs there that day, handle them, test them for diseases and then ask to have her from them, though there was no guarantee that they would have given her to me if I had gone through this procedure. Life is funny sometimes.

spitfire, 2nd answer to you. I can't thank you enough for the time
that you took to give me all of these suggestions. I will do what you suggest and post results.

spitfire, thanks for the suggestions. I will call them with your questions.
Lady Kenobi, thanks for reading me. I've been having fun reading you this week, now that I'm back. Got kicked off BN for a payment not going through and the bank says that it never happened, they never declined the payment. Whatever, I'm back and thanks again for reading me.

benzinha...
Long time, no speak! Hope you're hangin' in there! Okay, listen. I've just read your last few blogs about your doggie situation. First of all, is there any way you can get in touch with your local county animal control and /or Humane Society? They have programs that (if you qualify) will refer you to certain veterinarians (like myself) that will do charity spays/neuters free of charge.  Also, I don't understand why your current vet's office has not squeezed you in for her time-necessary surgery!!! This is unexcuseable in my opinion. I don't want to rip on them, but the importance of Veterinary Medicine is in the best interest of the animal...NOT the money, NOT the tight schedule!!! I realize that the type of surgery requires more time as far as to compared to a routine spay, however, if they are so busy that they can't fit your dog in for a necessary surgery THAT SHOULD NOT WAIT, why couldn't they simply call the other clients with more routine surgeries and reschedule them??? If their pets are only having routine spay/neuter surgery and are only between 4 to 7 months old for example, then what's the freakin' harm? They couldn't find ANY way to assure payment (like, a post-dated check as a deposit, or a credit card number if you didn't "make good on your post-dated check? Do they use CareCredit?) There are ways to work around money issues when an animals' life is at stake. Please keep me posted and my prayers are with you and your dog!
