Yes, it is such a challenge for the blind to find their way round. Esperantists have perhaps been especially interested in the welfare of the blind, because the founder Ludoviko Zamenhof was an occulist. There is an annual conference for blind Esperanto speakers. Thanks for commenting Shelly.

Fun filled day for you! I have been meaning to tell you that I took mass transit with my son in Seattle! We did that to get a feel for the local population! One evening coming back on the bus a gentlemen got on, I wasn't paying attention at first, then the bus driver said, "Right hand side, middle seat." He was blind; I instantly thought of you and your post on Vasilij Eroshenko who went about the world even though blind! When I read your post it seemed so frightening, but after witnessing it, it wasn't that unnerving whatsoever! I can see how he was able to do it! It was so nice to remember your post and have a new experience be very meaningful, thank you!!!! Shelly

sounds like your graffiti is more of a problem then here. Our city has found if they go out and cover up the graffiti right away it stops them from coming back, the whole purpose is to display their gang signs.

Some grafitti on public walls may be art, but it doesn't belong on
a person's house. That's rude and even threatening. And it can be expensive to get rid of.
