Its a real world alright. The reality confounds our paradigms, but it is real. I do not attribute failure to her but to this money-grubbing system!

That is all I can do. She can not get control of it until she has talked about it, to it and begin to shed it.

What a case, simultaneously sad and fascinating, and I am sure you helped her by just listening to her...

Almost everybody has a big story with only a little bitty solution in their grasp until they find Jesus.

It is not me! (I) It is God. But you should meet some of these people they are so wonderful, each resisting evil in the only way they know. They are so glad to have someone talk with them after they have confessed all who does not think they are dirt. Of course God rescued your sweet self and your sweet Wiley. He will bring your son home to you one day as well.

we totally agree with you that God rescued both of us, brought us together
in his timeliness. I had to come back and read this again. More to soak in the wonder of your loving heart. You are something special dearest.

I wrote this mainly because she had come up with the term for her problem. This was either from very good therapy at the recovery center or she was totally zoned in on the strangeness of what had happened to her. It is not at all uncommon. People are hurting. One in four women have been molested by a family member. That is totally shocking to me.

After speaking with so many women I can understand her side. I really didn't understand that she had chosen me, or that her problem was so well hidden. I had never suspected, but I see that frequently now just not this cleverly twisted.

The Lord works in our lives in such awesome ways. We all have had experiences of this sort in some manner. This is what I do now. I would not run into some sorts of things, this is what he picks for me.

For some reason you were there and this woman could cleanse herself by relaying some of the ugly truths she had hidden for so many years.  God does indeed work in mysterious ways.

I would have been terribly confused after that meeting and the ´mistaken identitiy´and I truly understand your reaction to speak to God forthwith.

Yes, I agree with everyone who said the Lord put you in that place at that time for a reason. You were a blessing to her because you allowed her to express all those things she seemed to so desperately need to say out loud.

I have no way of knowing if all of it happened that way. It is just so out there that I believe it did. I do this all the time, but not in this manner, to this degree, nor in happenstance meetings. But God has a way of getting all of us to the place we need to be if we listen and obey. How do you think you and Wiley got together on two different continents? God's guidance. Thank you so much for reading me and being so encouraging.

Thanks, I am glad I was there too. This meeting is only one to break a shell. She is in a group that will help guide her to healing. God will finalize her healing. I have heard a lot of unusual stories but hers was a bit over the top.

I have done many different things in my life but now I am doing exactly what I am called to do. He is so good to put me in the right place at the right time.

Sam444:
It was a divine appointment. If you pay close attention you will find so many of these in your life. They have rarely been that dramatic, but God in totally in charge and we are His arms, legs and mouth piece so often without thinking God put each of us in a particular spot.

That is why the Christian access to the recovery programs are working so well. Jail ministries are working and all because they are finding out who they are in Christ, they are being born again and God is letting them know there is no condemnation for what they have given to Jesus no matter who was at fault. He is beginning to clean them from the inside out.

She will be getting a lot of help, she already is. She is in a recovery program. This is step 4 (I believe that is correct) she is working on now. She apparently has come a long way. She will make it. I would have dropped my teeth if this had been the first sort of confession I had heard. In a My first to help in a safe place for sexual abused women I thought I would loose it right away. People go through a lot and can not feel safe to talk.

The first few times I heard such I was shocked and saddened for days. Now I know it is all too common. I am sure she left out a lot and may have pieced some. This was a trying time for her mostly. I left out the emotion and much of the talk.

Looks like it was asked of you to be there for this woman but it was tough
on you. Did all this really happen as she tells it?

So many lonely people in this world, so many with lives all messed up that began with things over which they had no control.  So many lonely people that have no idea how to get back on track and make things right with others, with themselves, with God....

Wow Justi... in a way you did for your "friend" what most Psychologists do for their clients... you listened and allowed her by telling you to hear herself.  The process is very painful for the one who opens up, but actually is simple and healing... Now she will find it easier to aproach someone closer to her and tell them.  The closer the person the more healing the process will be and hopefully, eventually, she will be able to comfront her abusers and complete the circle.  You did great my friend... and you should be proud that G-d chose you for such an important role. Good for you.!!!

How sad. And how good that you were sent to meet her (because there is a reason for everything) and let her finally get it out. Hopefully she will find happiness in her life.
