Sorry for the pain in your life. Some thoughts on reducing DUI accidents.

There are two addictions here.  Besides addiction to alcohol, there is an addiction to automobiles, to driving everywhere rather than walking to and from bars.  Both need to be addressed to stop the deaths from drinking and driving, since alcoholism or even drunkenness is not involved in many of these cases.  At the least, no establishment on a highway or without pedestrian access to residences, town or public transportation, or with parking should be allowed to serve alcohol.
I cringe every time I see a bar along an otherwise empty highway.  What is the town thinking? How can they NOT have DUI accidents caused by their patrons?
Thanks for commenting on my blog.

It's a nice thing you are doing there, Justi. I'm sure the girls will appreciate it, and hopefully learn something too.

Good post!  So much misery in this world due to alcohol addiction...so many lives ruined...lives lost...children neglected...It never seems to end.
