What a nice story about your brother - he would have been an interesting man to know. But I must admit that, as a cyclist, I share the Danish view of tricycles, which appears to resemble the Canadian one closely...

Your love for your brother shows. Such a cool story and what an adventurer he was. I'm so sorry, sounds like he touched many people's lives in wonderful ways.

such a bitter sweet story and how brave you are. Time heals but only
so far the scar is always tender.

Certainly, the clown’s tricycle delights children love. They make awesome wind-up toys and knick knacks. BC-A, Bill*s Cyberspace Hotlink

I find it so neat when someone comments or mentions a blog post made awhile ago.

I think that is so awesome! I am restoring a 1948  Firestone tricycle! Even now, it is a blast to ride! The only think that gets me is remember the wheels are wider and a bit awkward! What a passion he had, he could also carry everything he needed and be evenly distributed for a smooth ride! I just love his commitment, it could not have been easy getting the bike upstairs and to the balcony! But, when something is as dear a friend, it must be taken care of in that person's eye! Great story! I wish he could have toured the U.S., he would have loved it! Shelly

Sounds like your brother was both passionate and committed to tricycling.  So sorry you lost him.   How extremely cool that the Lincoln Wheelers Club came to pay the respects.

Nicely spun story here. Bicycle (tricycle) trails are one of the big
attractions in this area, miles of places through woodlands and towns -- where the old rail lines once were, and others where inter-city trolleys ran. About 60 years ago Big auto/big oil bought out the public transportation so people would have to buy cars.

It's so gratifying to see how our written words persist and have an impact long after they have been put on paper or screen. Thanks for following my travels in Galicia.

Elinjo - have fun with the family and yes to travel in a tricyle is quite something. Your posts are an interesting read so I am not surprised at your following in your previous blog. Have a nice weekend!
