Elinjo
My heartiest congrats, and here's moral support from someone who needs to lose a few more pounds himself! I prefer to count the pounds - it's easier to lose a pound than a kilo...

I believe your method is the only one that works...
We have to think of chocolate chip cookies and fried anything as disgusting... good luck to me on that one.  Congratulations on your success! I love the way you described your loss in terms of groceries.  Very motivational.

Congratulations! Health is so important. It enables us to 'do' instead of just 'watch'. Hang in there - that skirt will celebrate the New Year with you!

Re: Good for you!
No, we have to be in the mood for it. I started because my blood pressure was higher than it should be and I was finding it more and more difficult to go up and down the stairs. Good luck! Don't let yourself get hungry; eat healthy food and don't expect miracles from one day to the other.

Good for you!

I'm finally ready to loose some of my weight too!

Really can't happen till we are willing can it?
