- Go to British pubs an endangered ‘species’?
Pubs are disappearing fast in England
but I think you're absolutely right too about home consumption

to staying home and saving money.

Re: Re: 'Wet T-shirt Night
I don't really know, I'm only familiar with passing the place and seeing the sign that advertises the specials for the night. I think it's frequented by riff-raff. LOL

Re: 'Wet T-shirt Night
Please Taps, what do customers at Diamond Joe's gentleman's club do on a 'Wet T-Shirt Night'?
It sounds way over the top! LOL

What an interesting post. It wouldn't surprise me if the same were true for the tavern's and beer joints around here. Although, I do still see cars parked around Diamond Joe's Gentleman's Club, especially on "Wet T-Shirt Night."

Re:
I was astonished too. But as Rockingrector wrote it probably also has something to do with the ban on smoking; that in itself is IMP a real blessing - I'm a non-smoker.

Amazing and at an alarming rate! I would never have thought that in my life! The local bars in my town always have the lots filled! Shelly

maybe if they had lowered their prices or offered some really good specials like all the fast food places are doing now, have a good trip and we look forward to your return, I know I will miss you

I guess we should all do our part to encourage the local bars
and restaurants to keep going... I noticed here in Mundane a couple places that used to be jam-packed with waiting lines at mid-day are now uncrowded. It's almost like there was a rumor the food was bad.

You're absolutely right and some landlords complain that the 'no smoking' laws have hit trade as well. The good eating pubs are flourishing, but the old, traditional drinking pubs are almost a thing of the past.
