Re:Virtual tourism and God and the 'devil'.
Thanks Rockingrector for your detailed reply. The big advantage of virtual tourism is that you can zoom in and see many details, that you would otherwise not be able to see and you don't have to dodge other tourists who are also flashing their digital cameras! LOL.
The theme of God V Satan/ good V evil is very interesting. The idea that God is 'omni-everything yet there is so much evil in the world would indicate that 'Satan' is just as powerful. It seems to be a never ending dual.

Re:
Yes Lustorlove, in some ways I agree. It's very tiring standing in a long line outside a museum and some of the best museums have wonderful homepages; the Ufizzi Gallery in Florence for example.
http://www.italyguides.it/us/florence/uffizi_gallery.htm You can zoom in and look at the details too.

Isn't that just great? Wait till we have smells and sounds and touch included in the videos. Then we really won't need to go! Re. your reply to my comment on your blog on prayer - yes, I do think we have the 'devil' (whatever that might be) within us as well. How about this: If God is omni-everything - omnipresent, omniscient etc., can there be anywhere without God? Does that mean the 'devil' or 'evil' or whatever we want call the dark side of life, is actually present within God? because if not, there would be somewhere where God is absent - can that be??

I think I'm becoming a hermit.
Haven't left the house for 2 days except to take the garbage out. Thanks for reminding me there's a beautiful interesting world out there.

This is where I would like to be on July 26 for the finish of the Tour de France as the cycles come down the Champs-Élysées and in happy triumph and to the noises of the crowds and circle the Place de l'Étoile, The Arc de Triumphe.
