Thanks for your comment Vogue. Yes, I hope to report from the World Congress in Poland. Re. why Esperanto has not taken off: that is a complicated matter. I intend to write more posts about Esperanto after the summer holidays and will include a blog with my theories about its apparent failure. Have you ever googled the word Esperanto? I've just done so and got 50,300,000 hits.

First: thanks for your comment. Secondly, I hope you will report from the congress in Poland. I am fascinated with your interest in esperanto and I always wonder why it hasn't really taken off. Do you, as an expert, have an explanation?
