That's a pretty nice poem. I remember the tree we used to climb, but it died when my parents had it pruned . When I turned 21 my dad took me to a bar where all his friends' were.  I didn't drink by then, and he bragged about me when I ordered a coke!

Wonderful!  I still remember the intensity of the Bunsen burner in my high school chemistry class.  I love what you do in your writing.

I love the mysterious way that this blog is set up.  It adds to the intrigue and mystique of the poems that are posted as a sort of window into a scenario-there is a partial view of what may have happened here, but that is all we're allowed-a piece at a time.

Thank you so much for your invaluable advice. I'll watch out for the 'bespoke arm' and will keep my expectations down. I won't talk to them until I have a very clear synopsis for the book and that will only come when I'm physically in Galicia and get inspired. Thanks again for caring, it's absolutely lovely.
