We went through this recently, too. My husband will be attending one of
those celebration of life ceremonies soon, too -- on his vacation.

The pain of loss is inevitable, but for those of us who do not have the solace of faith, to celebrate the completion of a life is some solace and also an affirmation of all of life and its mystery...
