From one (ex)pothead to another... I remember in a seminar years ago (we were allowed to smoke in seminars) the kindly old philosophy prof remarking, kind of puzzled, 'You're smoking pretty strange tobacco. Can't you afford anything better?' We were all toking up...

Smoking tobacco exposes the person doing so, to literally HUNDREDS, perhaps thousands, of dangerous carcinogins and known to be harmful compounds! If marihuana has only a dozen or two, compared to tobacco smoke, it is a health food! Let's face it, the human lung was not designed to filter smoke from the air that we breathe, and ALL smoke is pollution. There are vaporizing instruments (similar to a small hair dryer) that heat the volatile compounds of vegetative material to about 450 degrees temperatures, just below the ignition point, and are far safer than inhaling smoke. Many, many harmful compounds a formed at ignition temps, a literal chemical reaction. I'm sure that nothing is completely safe, even oxygen is one of the most corrosive gasses known. Think about it, oxygen corrodes many METALS!
Many cookbooks exist that contain recipes for cookies, brownies, casseroles, breads, soups,teas, alcoholic drinks, etc. and if an ingredient contains baking powder, at least one inert cannibidol compound captures a carbon dioxide molecule and briefly transforms it to tetra hydra cannibdol, improving it into the most satisfying and enjoyable ingredient in marihuana, but this molecular marriage doesn't last very long, so enjoy quickly, before the divorce occurs.. Benjamin Franklin, one of history's greatest minds, was a member of "The hashish eater's club" in our colonial days, and lived robustly, to a ripe old age.
Marihuana has been consumed in every possible form in China, for more than 6,000 years, and if it was truly dangerous, medical science would recognize and describe a commonly known "Marihuana consumers syndrome." So far, the only ones that I am aware of, are the tendency to eat raw cookie dough and play music too loud!

I have heard that marijuana is helpful in dealing with migraine pain! So, I would love to have it if it helped! I think I will check the yellow pages for a dealer! LMAO! It will happen one day though! sam

Excellent write... you pothead loll Just kidding... This was exceptionally fervent and well conceived. Bravo!!!! I just see one flaw in your argument. Eventhough it is true that Mariguana should not be criminalized as it is, it has to be remembered that smoking it, exposes one to a dozen or so potent carcinogenics (many more than cigarrette smoking).. True that alcohol and cigarrettes are also killers in their own insidious ways and are legal, but do two wrongs make a right? Its not an easy decission. At least for medical reasons it should be legally available... perhaps by prescription... I don't know... Or... they could decriminalize it and trust us to make the right choice for our health... which most likely would not happen but ...what can I say :-)
