I love that 'feminine rain'... a lovely expression. One of my favourite lines from Jilly Cooper's The Common Years is an entry one May morning: '
beautiful soft rain soaked day... '
Hers is one of the books that inspired me to express my love of my country and to embrace its capricious weather whole heartedly. Funny the things you remember...
