Re: Re: Young people don't like to be reprimanded?
Dear Jack Flash I'm just as openmouthed when it suits me with 'old farts' as you so elegantly put it! In this case it happened to be a 'young fart'.

What's with trashing ''kids?''
A pig is a pig.  Its age is irrelevant.

Re: slobby kids?
Most of the slobs that I run into are adults.

Re: Young people don't like to be reprimanded?
How about old farts?
They don't like to be reprimanded by the older or the younger.
No one appreciates being reprimanded by the self-righteous.
The self-righteous are particularly sensitive to reprimands.
But then they are always right, aren't they?

When I lived in Seattle I enjoyed taking the bus, which was always
too crowded for people to spread out and put their feet up. They're fairly ecology conscious in that city, but there's still debris left by slobby kids.

Re: It's very much same India .
Really? How very sad! My last visit to India was in 1982 and at that time I got the impression that people in general knew how to behave in public.

kids these days dont have respect for much of anything, and I find their language in most cases disgusting f this and f that and the parents are to blame for a lot of it as they do the same things

I like that.."Sometimes I don't!" I loved your spontaneity with that situation Betty. Respect just isn't a priority with some people. Sad.

A great aunt of mine never learned to drive. When she lived in Baltimore City she didn't need to, and once she moved out into the county with her son and daughter-in-law she just relied on my grandmother.

I don't take public transportation, so I don't know what to tell you.

Re:
Yes Taps, that's why I usually bury myself behind my newspaper lol! My learning to drive would be more dangerous for the world at large!

Elinjo, I can't help laughing at your audacity.   Not every young person, today, takes well to being reprimanded.  It could even be a dangerous undertaking if one happened to pick on the wrong person at the wrong time.  It could even be more dangerous than learning to drive.  LOL
