I did have to run actually,
from the second date LOL - had to meet my girlfriend for a drink to celebrate her birthday so lunch didn't stretch into dinner the way coffee had the day before.

Actually, Troosha, now I look back, it was kind of a goodbye kiss:) I think you're right and he was being scrupulously fair. I didn't mean to suggest I felt hard done by - it was just something and nothing.

I’m just guessing here but I suspect you ooze vulnerability at this stage of your life and perhaps he just saw that in you and knew you were too raw to date (at least in terms of his expectations). So maybe he was actually being a gentleman.
