Oh, I like the line about the radio taunting the listener... very nice touch.

Sometimes those songs seeping out of our radio are just too “right on the money”…

Been there.
"Theme from a Summer Place" can absolutely blacken my mood. It was "our song."

Songs do that sometimes - prick your memory.

Another peek into someone's moment. I guess we all have been there, when something in the radio brings to the surface feelings or memories we rather leave burried... the mention of this painful moment makes this letter's segment poignant and intimate...for is something one would tell someone close that can understand why we were bothered. Excellent as always

Azur,
Also, can you tell me how someone can screech out a TV commercial
without ever closing their mouth enough to pronounce words?
I just don't get it.

Azur,
It is kind of amazing how the radio can piss you off, isn't it?
The TV does that to me too. Only it is much worse.
There is some woman who comes on with an ad for flooring.
I hope I never see her in real life. She might get banged up.
All you have to do is look at her and you get pissed.
She has a face that wouldn't surprise you on a baboon,
and a mouth that could be used to trap bears.
She wears red lipstick that would cause sushi to jump back in the ocean.
You have to be fast to get the sound down. Her voice ruined a good pair of my speakers.
I'll try to find a video of one of her commercials and send it to you.

This sends the wheels turning in my head! It is a statement that can be taken to just about anyone's life! How poignant! You are so right, it is not wise to waste neon! Love how my bulbs are adding up, like you score so to speak! Congratulations and anything I may have done was my absolute pleasure! sam
