I'd be pretty miffed too...!  Never mind - your work speaks for itself.

Re: Rockingrector, yes I am not rushing to get a copy either
It's something at least, well small consolation I know, that people know that the photo did not live up to the real you. I think the worst thing with mine is that someone who might be checking out my work and portfoliowill spot this photo and not know that it's a 'terrible photo'.

Muser, yes I've learnt my lesson. Never squeeze in a job to help out a friend that involves photography. ;-)

I can empathise with this. A local journalist was interviewing me about something or other - can't remember what - and the photographer took a photo. No end of people said to me, "What a terrible photo of you in the paper!" I heard it so often I refused to buy the paper. I thought if I saw the photo I'd be depressed for evermore, so it was better not to know. Yes, may be vanity, but who cares? That's how we feel!

It is never too late to learn a lesson, Azur...
We have ONE chance to make a good FIRST IMPRESSION...ONE CHANCE.  I have certainly made my share of mistakes! The upside of your experience is that I am sure you will never make this  same mistake again! Now, the past is the past.

Cheer up, chickadee. Live and learn!
