Thanks sam lol - fortunately it seems like very mild chardonnay and I had a lovely afternoon with my son yesterday. Had to make his bed before I could sit on it and keep him company on the computer though..!

Good advice Justi - he is 22 however and the best way with him is to show him the positives. I think he is coming around and I will do my best to keep him on track. Plus *I love running into him on campus..!

Yes, I hope your son will be motivated to stay. Just say no sounds so childish but it is the best, safest and gives you full control. They will still love you.

Marine biology sounds very interesting and if your son likes it, hopefully he will stay. Thanks for yiur suggestion re: book cover. I too like the birds better.

I hope your son can stay motivated, too! When they are young it is so difficult for them to see the big picture, they are too wrapped up in the moment! I can appreciate what you are going through, my oldest boy suddenly dropped out of college and threw away his scholarship! Much good luck to you to keep in school! Watch that after work socializing, it could land you with a hangover! lol sam
