Too bad people that age (school age) don't get it that school's their job
and there'll be a payoff one day. As for the ball and chain -- I wouldn't do it. When they're at home they're wanting attention, regular meals, snacks, to control the TV, to pick on their sibs, monopolize the phone, and the beat goes on.

Ummm… Both a little extreme – the prison-style ball as well as the chastity belts. I used good ol' fashioned bribery when my daughter was in high school. She loved money....
