....I've opted for....my bubble.  You should join me -it's nice and soapy and just washes away all the dirt.

Troosha
I bagan my taday's post on the very lines of Corbin you quote. I wish you read , maybe one prior too, and you'll realize it was not I, the accused, who opted to go public, but was compelled to, as per the mail I received from Naut, telling me to withdraw the Gray write and explain to blogitville as to why I am withdrawing. Well, I chose not to withdraw, after all why should I be dicatated, also the reason why I went public. There are a lot of inconstancies in the issue 'molded' as they were that will be cleared, if you visit. From my side I have ended, satisfied.

Joe
I have been following this quite closely as I respect both gentlemen and feel passionate about plagiarism.   But at this point I echo Corbin’s comment: I must say after reading Nauts latest response, one has to begin to wonder where this is going to head.  The points made were very strong.......”  Further, it was the “accused” who opted to make it public.  It is unfortunate how it unfolded and how, on the surface, it took on the appearance of dueling intellects.  But given Naut’s latest post… one can only go ummmmm.

I am sadden by the whole affair! Both of these gentlemen mean a great deal to me and I just don't know how to respond in this matter! sam

I hadn't caught up on any of this, but it certainly sounds intriguing. Off to read Wikipedia right now....

Joe.......
I am sure a lot of people were in the dark on what was going on....you have given  some light to the issue.......I must say after reading Nauts latest response, one has to begin to wonder where this is going to head.  The points made were very strong.......

Joe Love, and all others
Thank you Joe, that was a wise and sensible blog you wrote, and so did all others in sensitivity, who commented; each is right in his or her own perspective of things. Just in case, if you are so inclined, you may check out the respose in my comment's page here .

Re: Joe, I find it difficult to be neutral
Joel Love and Azur, I do too, and I also verify things for myself.  I hope this goes away soon.  To my mind the issue is partly one of definition (if anyone needs to they can check copyright on Blogit Policies, no. 9). Intellectual property is a very sensitive issue, as is the question of intentionality in any action.  I don't believe any harm was intended from either party, thought the matter at hand is an important one and one which is being addressed. I'll leave it there I think.

Joe, I find it difficult to be neutral
i agree that both parties make their valuable contributions to the community and are each respected and liked by many people. And I would like to see this matter sorted amicably.

However, hand on heart, I can't condone pasting in the work of others and passing it off as one's own work. It might appear that I am taking sides and I guess I am, based not on the individuals but the matter at hand. I am not a close friend  of either part nor do I have any axe to grind with either party.

And in any case in such matters I never just rely on say so of others. I look at things for myself.

It might also because I am currently dealing with a legal process with a publication that used my work without attribution so  I am a bit more sensitive than most.
