This family is special, as in "Special education!" especially the males of the Grandchamp line. Marilyn's father shot her in her arm, her brother held up an armored car, Donnie is a worthless waste of skin and oxygen, D.J. is afraid to walk to the bathroom, or next-door alone, her ex is a womanizing, drunken leech, living off anyone he can con out of everything they own,........You must be seeing the light about them all, by now. I wish that I was exaggerating, but I'm NOT!
How I got mixed up with this family, is beyond me. A lot of good it has done me to have an IQ in the high 140's!

Obviously you have never met these two particular and peculiar children! You must be picturing NORMAL kids, not these two! They are Marilyn's grandkids, spoiled clear through to the BONE! The only part that rings true, is that they think everything is about THEM. I am glad that you are unfamiliar with the kind of kids that I live with, and are very lucky to only have experience with children that Marilyn and her son haven't ruined. Donny, (their father) will never, NEVER, be nominated as "Father of the Year!" He blew off Parent teacher night, last evening, to get drunk with one of his "friends." Marilyn took the kids with her, to it. 'Nuff said?

Very funny as usual Guy :-) but you should have taken them... They do not care about all of that, its the going with you, the getting out of school and the fact that you want to"show them off" Remember that with kids its all about them... our problems and shortcomings, our likes and dislikes are inconsequential to them as long as we love them and taking them with us to work means we want others to see them, that we are proud of them , plus they are very curious abaut what we really do when we are out all day loll. Oh well, there is always next year :-) Great post!
