Is there any chance you can buy a snow blade for your Green Machine?
That way, you could plow the driveway and save your aching back (or Monster's) when old man winter comes calling. And as Wiley says, a cart for all those hauling jobs that country folks seem to have might be a thoughtful birthday gift. The Home Depot in Seattle had a latte stand and sold sandwiches, but Mundane's big orance box doesn't even have a Pepsi machine.

I love tractors, wish I had 3 1/2 acres of lawn. Remember mowing the 2 acres we had when I was a kid, riding around on the mower was good times~

Actually, I'm happy you listened to him because I have 4 acres of grass and it cost me about $2,700.00 7 years ago and it's still going, But, I got the trailer too so it's better you weren't there or I wouldn't have got the trailer right Joe? LOL Great post my friend.

Okay....when I think of Tom, I see him in his suit and hat he wore on Steve Allen's show in the man on the street skits....how's that for aging me??!! If you and the Monster had had that image of Tom, you would never have fallen for the spiel.....but, you didn't....and you did....so, you at least have alternate transportation that is built to last. You do have enough insurance to cover this baby on your homeowner's policy don't you? (great write, by the way)

Ah but a one time celebrity sold it to you and now you can recoup at
least 20cents here on blogit from all the clicks. LOL I do wish you good luck and good health with the tractor and perhaps you can cut the nice old neighbours lawn sometime with your U- Beaut macho tractor.

LOL! All very well, but what I'd be interested in is the
performance. What's her 0 - 5 time?

I could again picture this whole episode with you, Monster and Tom Poston, too funny! I was really wishing you had won out with the $ 899. Great story and it kept me smiling.

Your poor 85 year old neighbour – sound likes her mower is now on the clock thanks to you two. “My sometimes significant other” made me laugh….
