I'd lost track of that news story Naut - well written.. I wondered what had happened to him - yes, a true hero. (and Phillips was pretty brave too) - lol

I'm glad he made it through safely. You're absolutely right to salute him.
I have to say those Navy SEALS are nobody to mess with. Glad they were there, too.

Good to see potential tragedy turn to triumph!

Colleen McCullough's books about Rome and Julius Caesar include a few chapters on Caesar's adventure with capture and captivity by pirates,  how he was ransomed, and how he thanked them for their hospitality.

AMEN to that!!!  What a guy.  And to think, he's a regular, wood-chopping, community minded Vermonter.  I am so glad our sharp-shooters came to the rescue and all turned out well.  Perhaps the pirates will think twice next time while trying to take on an American ship.  Mal
