Often the best travel discoveries are the ones you find serendipitously.  Such an interesting place - a great setting for a mystery novel.  By the way, Vogue - I just found out that the TriBeca Film Festival will be taking place while you're here....I'm so excited.  It's Robert DeNiro's baby, launched in May 2002 right after 9-11.  DeNiro's studio is downtown near the Trade Center site and when employees stepped outside, they were instructed to "look left" - at the smoldering ruins, as a reminder of why that area of the city was so important to revive.  The Film Festival brought so many people to downtown Manhattan, and remains a great annual Film Festival, with lots of short and feature length entries.  Interested?  Mal

How beautiful! This village would be a very suitable place to build Utopia, dream, dream! Thanks for your info about Turkey; have left a reply in my blog. Enjoy the last few days of your stay.
