"Flow" is very important to me...
..and I hate it when my writing rhythm is broken. It's so hard to get back.

Re: Great post, and I totally agree.
Yes, hazel, the comments are poetic. We writers are still just that, creators, even if we have to battle technology to get our thoughts out into the world.

How right you are! Some mags really put more emphasis on form than necessary. And yes, there are mags out there where the sol purpose is to get more clicks because of keywords. But, then, the clicks are their money and the keywords are the baits.... It's all come down to the mighty

Great post, and I totally agree.
The comments that have been left read so beautifully, like poetry.

You're so right! I too bemoan the days when I was sitting in my garret, wrapped in my kaftan, the embers in my fireplace dying down, whisps of fog wafting in trough that broken pane, the flickering candle just dimly lighting the vellum on which my worn quill recorded the feverish creations of a mind unencumbered by the distractions of what passes for 'progress' these days...

Yes you are right... The romanticism of writing is diminished by the coldness of the keyboard... With the pen the writer left something of him or herself on the page... deeper strokes if there was deep emotion... even a tear or two smearing the ink... I have to say I still use pen and paper...first, and then as I trnansfer it into the computer I edit and change it. It inspires me more to be sitting in a quiet dark corner overlooking my garden or some other of Natures gifts. Take care of you darlin'

You're so right....the pen and paper was a lot better! SEO and the rest can be quite tiresome! Thanks very much for commenting on my last two posts. I'm trying my luck with CC, and will let you know; thanks for all the encouragement. God bless. Nita.

It would stifle my creativity and spontenaity too Vogue - quite often I keep a 'blog wordpad' on my desktop so I don't lose the creative impulse. And there's always the handy scrap of paper, which I must say I still rely on. I have even asked for a scrap of cash register roll or a paper napking before now, if I have something I simply have to get down on 'paper' before I forget it.
