I hate it when people are here from other countries such as Mexico and they dont learn a word of English but their kids speak it fluently

Congratulations on your language learnig skills. I lived in Québec for about 50 years of my life and learned the rough french of the tradesmen that didn't require much skill. I don't write French well at all, and I struggledd all the time with other languages. There is so much English as you alluded to that I never felt the need to 'reach out' to other cultures I suppose. Maybe I'm more American than Canadian and learned the value of earning dollars to feed my family and most of those dollars were American earned for which I was grateful.
Like the start of your new story, keep on blogging luv, enjoy...........

Dialects can drive people nuts. You can learn the nuts and bolts and find that it does not apply sometimes.

U are among that tiny percentage of adults who can learn other langauges &
especially their nuances, that are so culture-specific and exhiklirating when U get them! Amen ... and loved your blend of your own life/lives around you. Shalom

Wonderful.
You have a very positive and happy perspective of the world and this is something you should cherish. Many people fail to see beauty in their lives, you see this beauty. When I read your opening lines and read your story, I could hear the lilt in your voice and the way you segued into each line; was truly well written. Keep up the great writing and attitude.
