If more couples thought and acted as you do, fifty year anniversaries would not be rare at all!!

It's all very nice and interesting, but are you trying to tell us that your new husband was one day old when you got divorced from your first one? I quote: "my new husband, yes one day old at the point of change"...Can you explain that in a little more detail?

This is a portrait of marriage as it should be.
How wonderful for both of you! I am pleased to know that people I love and admire are enjoying what God wants them to have.

Nice post, Justi. It is so important that couples are both committed to God and to each other and to working at keeping the marriage viable. Love depends on those things.

Who Cares: I DO!
Justi, There would be MORE lasting marriages if God was made the center and if people would be led by the Holy Spirit in decisions made. What you have stated about you and the wonderful man that God gave you is good instructions for the pre-married, the newly weds, or old timers that want it to be even longer. Rose & I have 38 years in the book & it has not been all peaches and creme. There have been some bitter-sweet moments but God has kept us together these many years and I believe He will lead us on. Thank you for your honesty and candor. Blessings on you, to you and through you!
