You have been to dinner like this before. Got to have the whiskey after the evening meal not noon, can't open it until after five. You and the Queen come on down and you can cook that chicken proper. Thanks for the read.

It sounds fun! Sensible self-defence forgetting about the headlines just for the day. I should love to come to; I would bring some Danish pastries and a bottle of brændevin (even better than whiskey, I can assure you).

Come on, now. You have to fry that chicken instead of bake it, with the skin on of course. And no southern meal meal is complete without whiskey, either a splash in hot tea to make hot toddy or a bit with the coffee for that extra bit of after-dinner relaxation.

Justi, if someone will pick I'll grin!
The meal sounds like a winner! I enjoy lots of unsweet ice tea and my coffee black. YUMMY!! Sometimes we just have to shut the world out and enjoy life's pleasure. Blessings!

Justi, that sure sounds good to me..:)
Everything you mentioned is yummy, and a good hot cup of coffee accompanying would make the meal complete. Oh, and I'll borrow my neighbor's guitar and at least make an effort at playing it..

.:)..
