Excellent write.  I remember picking "Tropic of Cancer" from my Uncle's bookshelf at the age of 7 or 8.  That was an eye-opener for me!

In those days parents told their children the most far-fetched stories about storks and gooseberry bushes; so when the truth came out it was mind-boggling! I remember reading 'The Group' - very good book. Thanks for the encouragement, Mal.

Such a great, well-written story.  And reminds me of when I was 9, and an "older girl" in camp gave me the book The Group - opened to a particularly explicit passage.  I couldn't get the image out of my head, especially when this older girl told me that my parents did it!  I did not believe her!!  Mal
