Very inspiring. I see many that look the same way like you did.

I watched my Mom & Dad do this all of my life until the end of theirs.  You wouldn't believe how people responded to them and how they appreciated the efforts made to brighten their lives.  I have tried to emulate them.  Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail, but people are always worth any effort.

Oh how true

I recently booked in to go on a cruise on the Sydney Harbour for about 3 hours. The view was absolutely beautiful.  I caught a coach, as a bus load of people were booked in.  We had a smorgasboard lunch and our lot were all sitting on one side. After a while, Kathy a girl whom I met, pointed out to me look at our side we're all happy talking laughing smiling enjoying the day, and we even ended up dancing to the band.  And look at the other side.  I looked over, there were no expressions on peoples faces, hardly anyone talking, or laughing smiling etc.  Maybe they were enjoying the day, but you certainly couldn't see any outward signs.

One of the guys from the band said this is hard work, does anyone want to come up and sing a song.  A lady from our group she was about 65 or 67 straight away got up and headed out the front.  The guy from the band said oh I was just joking.  Anyway she ended singing about 3 songs, she was really good, I was really enjoying her entertainment.  They even ended up asking her if she wanted to do this on a regular basis.  But she declined.

You my dear have already started living what you preach. We can do a lot in blogit by writing an encouraging comment or passing on a piece of advice or knowledge. Or just a smile.

We should reach out every day to make a difference to someone, even in the smallest way. You do that by giving us such wonderful and thought provoking posts; many thanks! I hope your mum is doing well. God bless. Nita.

Absolutely!
There is more than enough pain to go around and as vessels of God we are to be assisting those who need release from it.

O most certainly. I heartily endorse your sentiments and even practise it whenever I can.

personally I agree with you
when I'm at work I go out of my way to make someone else's job easier, when out I try to brighten other's day. it doesn't cost a thing to be nice to someone, just a tad of thought, and effort.

It is sad that we let our joy be stolen.
My Mom never worried about anything,  She just put it to God and let him take care of it.  If we can learn to stay in the present and BE, then fear cannot find us to steal our joy.  Love and fear cannot exist within the same moment.  So if at this very moment you are not afraid then you are in a moment of Love.  You can't change the past and the future is created by our thoughts.  If you are in a love moment then you create a positive feed back loop and like will attract like.  If you let fear find you it becomes a negative feedback loop.  There are so many things one can do to promote positive thoughts even when we are sad. There is a blessing in all of life's challenges.  The sooner we can learn unconditional love and Forgiveness in all of life's lessons the sooner we get to become One with God.  It is a comfort to know Mom is One with God.

Yes they are. My heart goes out to people who are so troubled and I want so much to give a word of encouragement. If I don't have it, I don't try to manufacture it. Have a good night!
