Nice pictures, but it does look bad. It reminds me of the really bad one we had back in '98 - both here in Ontario and in Quebec. Ottawa and Monteal were the worst hit areas, where in some areas it took ten days for the power to be restored. I remember driving up to Ottawa several days later, and was shocked at the devastation in the woods - they looked as if they had been bombed...
I hope things will return to normal quickly...

I was lucky, never experienced going without fuel in our ice storms. Those are certainly beautiful pictures.

Oh boy, that reminds me of the 22 days without electricity, heat or running
water or when we had our famous ice storm a few years back. Not good. Hope you got that generator!
