Aha Ciel - copying and pasting into WordPad works - the only thing you then need to do is to re-select any italics and change the text within the blog entry.

thanks Ciel.. biggest problem was going there sight unseen, and finding out everything the hard way. By grumbling to my journal I was able to keep up a more positive front. All the same, it was a huge shock to the system and I couldn't count on any support from my husband.

I don't know how to fix this,
but can reassure you that as it is here, it is easy on the eyes--something my aging eyes appreciate!
When there is just one or two or a few little things to get used to, as when one moves from city to city in the same country, it's unsettling enough. To change countries, climates, seasons on the calendar, available cookies, driving rules and styles--and all with very young children!--I can imagine that each new little thing, every poke and irritant became part of a huge stress!
