- Go to And in Nigeria: Pumpkins of Little Use in a Crash?
Well, I say if it works, why not let it be.

Nautikos
These just get funnier. I guess if you crash you can take home the pieces and have dinner. This is so funny. You can afford a bike but not a helmet. I love this blog.

LMAO!!!
They weren't without credibility, until they brought the witchdoctors into the equation.
They could have an argument by just citing the fact that without written specifics, anything on the head can be considered a helmet, like in America, where you see bikers with the German World War II helmets.
Hell, I've seen the old Kaiser Germany army helmets worn by bikers, and without written specifications, it's perfectly legal. Of course, Nigeria isn't America. lol

Was it Nigeria where they thought twins were instruments of evil?
Or was that a fiction book I read sometime in the past? If a mother gave birth to twins, one of them was immediately taken out to the forest and left there so the spirits wouldn't find the family and bring bad luck. People are messed up.

Live and let live I say Naut
and the other thing that springs to mind is you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Hopefully even a pumpkin hitting the kerb rather than someone's skull will lessen any injury.. personallyI wouldn't risk it.

I agree with sinome. And in fact this kind of behaviour has a name: natural selection!

You know what Naut??? I would let them be... no one is going to convince them that it does not work and if G-d forbid an accident happen and they can see it did not work, they will blame the spirits and the evil eye of those who criticized them. Sometimes its whatever lets you sleep at night what is good for you and if this makes them feel ok... more power to them.,... It must be a sight to behold though loll
