merkie, I have always cherished silence when I had opportunity to be there.
It's not easy to grow up in a small house as one of a family of nine.
Even when you are the mother of four in a large home there is always noise of one kind or another. So, I have always sought out silence and silent places like the forest of the garden.
There are a lot of good thoughts in this post.
