In the original translation from Aramaic, Jesus said: Eli, Eli, For this I was spared (this is my destiny). It is much different from the King James version Father why have you forsaken me. I think the difference is enough to change hearts and minds that may have doubts about Jesus faith in his father. Jesus willingly gave us a short cut to being one with God and all we have to do is what he did, unconditional love and forgiveness to all. Many blessings
