God rested
two days, even God needs a two day weekend!

Either that...
...or God has a sense of humor and likes to screw with our minds.

Oh naut, don't you know: god has plan and mystery that WE can't comprehend. LOL Even on a Friday!

The platypus is God's joke on humankind.

As a kid I identified with the Platypus.
Y'know -- kind of an outsider. These days I look on this as a blessing, gives me a kind of third eye perspective, a hint or two about the machinations of cliques. The existence of the Platy makes me think the Creator has a sense of humor.

That explains why the Big 3 take jets, they have webbed feet, lots of fur, and a tale like a beaver and a bill no one can handle! Yes, sounds like a happy hour deal to me! An extended lunch, a several martini imbibing and then fall right on their play-pusses before Congress! That's right, just atypical Friday! LMAO Shelly

Nautikos
Kabu says don't mess with Aussie's. I say who'd want a platy on their puss anyways.

Ahhh, now I know when one of the cars I had in my past life was made. It must not only have been a Friday, but the 13th to boot.

ahhhh the duck billed platypus...such a strange creature
I think they are very interesting...as for the car made of left over parts on a Friday..lol....nice way of saying it has many odd parts that don't make sense...lol. Let me tell you, I worked in an automotive factory for 14 years and on Friday,( If there's no weekend overtime)towards the end of the shift, anything goes..lol !

Naut
- only one thing more odd than a live platypus that I can think of, and that's a chocolate platypus at Easter...
