Thanks to everyone for visiting and commenting!

I am using my time to visit your blogs--and do silly things like get a really big tarp for the roof which has sprung half a dozen leaks... and make stuffing bread...  and start setting up my next photo show...  It is a busy time!

I really appreciate each and every one of you taking your time to share your thoughts with me!

Sounds wonderful Ciel, I love listening to music in theatre.

I have a friend who, with many other couples, all retired, go once a month to a theatre here in Montreal and listen to Symphonies on a large screen. They all have limited income, and this allows them to enjoy the music they love for a much smaller fee. He walks on clouds for days after one of these outings.

Language of the Soul
You described the atmosphere at the concert hall and makes me feel I am inside it. I love music - all music except those so-called modern compositions which to me sounded more like noise of a cat and dog quarreling inside a closet. Forgive the expression...When everybody appreciates the sounds of big B's violin, yes the hall would look like a plague hospital where even hiccups is a crime...

Now you've got me listening to it.  I love concert halls and symphony orchestras.  Always have, always will.

Ciel
Nothing compares to experiencing great music in a concert hall - but I must confess that, when I consider the drive, the search for parking, and of course the price of the tickets these days, my armchair looks damn inviting (he say as he is listening not to any of the symphonies, but to B.'s violin concerto, another piece of divine music...)

That was so well-written
that I feel like I got to go to the concert for free.
