How horrifying, Mal.  I've been to Ft. Lauderdale and I can't imagine it like this.   Surely this goes far beyond freedom of speech in America.

My admiration for Florida has taken a great nose-dive. I feel sorry and embarassed for you and all Jews, but I know you are all totally above such senseless violence.

fanatical violence and hatred
I think I saw a skinhead there

and some of the people only dressed with Arab garb, weren't anywhere near Arab.

Arab extremism is similar.

We have to  have some common ground somewhere.

That was bone chilling...
...and calls to mind the expression by Michael Moore, "Dude, where's my country?"
This is not the country I grew up in, and the hatred towards Israel that was expressed in terms of violence was so hypocritical of their condemnation of Israel.
In many ways, America has become unrecognizable to me.
I'm sorry for how this disturbing demonstration must have affected you and Jews everywhere.

Dear God in Heaven, help us all...
Israel is God's chosen, the Jews are God's chosen people, if we are against Israel then there is no hope for us, I pray we aren't, I pray we are not against Israel, I pray we support Israel in this new administration, I pray, oh how I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  Brenda

gap
This appalling spectacle at least does one thing: it will drive home the point I am about to address next in my brief series, namely that the 'nurturing community' supporting Islamo-fascist terrorists is in fact much more extensive than people believe...
