The news just isn't getting any better. I feel so sorry for everyone.

The British erred in not foreseeing this endless tragedy. It does not matter that Israel may be magnanimous here, peace will not come at the end of guns. Peace will not come unless neghbours can live in peace. At this hour, this seems as remote as Alaska without winter.

We see wonderful examples of cooperation between Jews and Arabs all the time - whenever Arabs show willingness! Happiness, prosperity and world peace seem to be eluding humanity in this year of 2008 and seem even less likely for the New Year 2009.  In spite of that, there is still much good.  It is just harder to find.

The media drives me crazy! If it is bad, it gets priority but if it is otherwise it is buried! This is such a difficult situation! I am pleased the doctors are committed to saving lives, even amid their own countrymen losing theirs! Incredulous love for humanity! sammy

The real story is sadly often hidden in the Media BS
that clouds the thinking of many with regard to the middle east. May our prayers and G-d blessings be with them for a safe winter and a calmer atmosphere.

These are serious times, especially for those caught in the crossfire.
