Guilt is an emotion, but there for a purpose
T get beyond it. Many people ust get stuck at guilt, but it doesnt help them to be better people. Those whow ant to be violent - rape, kill and hurt - do so. Those who don;t have actualised tot hemsleves that it is something they don;t want or need to resort it. Guilt wears you down, chews you out and makes you ineffectual. The idea is to live mindfully - live int he present and thatw ay, you won't do any harm and therefore, no need to feel guilty.
