Keep a copy of everything, my friend. You will find the best in what you have and that may be your book. Good luck and I'm glad Blogit is therapy for you. I think it is for many of us.

Re: I have started by keeping a current copy of my work on disc.
That's a good time-saving tip of how to do it.

I have started by keeping a current copy of my work on disc.
I have a CD-RW where I store the collection of my work as I go along. I get to write in real time and write a book in real time at the same time. I just have to figure out how to add pictures to make my work complete.

Oh yes I have
I submitted most of my Afghanistan blogs to an agent in Delhi and she suggested it would well - I just had to add a narrative. That was 16 months ago. I am a little slow, but I think I may be up for it next year.

No book for me...although I see blogit as a place to share and improve my writing skills. I do love poetry.

I always say I'm just having fun.

I haven't, but I see how it could be done by some witty blogger.

actually yes I have. My family history posts all went into a book for my
son who turned 40 this year. He loves it as he's now old enough to start to wonder about his heritage.

Blogit books
I think it would be ingenius for blogit staff to find different people's works with similar themes and put them together in books-BLOGIT BOOKS PRESENTS CHRISTMAS-a collection of poetry, short stories, pictures, and articles. Couldn't you picture walking into Barnes and Noble and seeing that on display? As for me, my Worlds Away blog (in poetry) is actually a book I'm working on getting published.
