I am sorry. Listen to your body and rest when you need to do so. Try to lower stress in any area of your life that you can. Do not let it stress you when some people do not believe there is anything wrong with you. Do research on line. Thank you for sharing this.

Re: TAPS
One of the reasons there is no more research is that nobody dies of it (at least they won't call it that) because it is a syndrome of so many other things. We have trouble breathing. We have sleep problems but it is not apnea it is that when we get to a certain level of sleep we simply wake briefly and begin all over again. We do not get  the rest ever that we need. Also there is trouble about choking and  for so many they have Fatigue Syndrome as well. I had a period of three years after I had had it for a long time trying to get a diagnosis. They gave me positive and negative lupus and all sorts of things. They don't want to even come near it because they do not know what to do but medicate it! I am so sorry about your niece I remember that. She was so young.

Re: Sam444
I am so sorry. I shall be praying for those migraines and for new research findings. Some how I feel that the Medical community now days are more interested in selling drugs than they are in true research. I am so sorry dear one. May you have healing! God bless you. Thank you for your kind words.

Justi, My niece who passed away earlier this year had fibromyalgia for years and years and it was a long and terrible time before she ever had a diagnosis.  She did not die from the disease, but from a combination of medications.  She was on a very strong pain medication and BP medication when she got a very bad cold and instead of going to the Doc for the cold, got OTC cold medication of the pseudoephedrine type and a cough medication.    The combination of all of these caused her to suddenly stop breathing and she could not be resusitated.  She was only 51 years old and such a beautiful and sweet loving lady.

Wow Justi, this is a horrible disease! I guess since a man has come forward perhaps more will and then it may get its deserved attention. I understand pain and I have you in my prayers. I know the feeling of wanting to die and awaken later too! Good luck darlin' with trying to prevent as much pain as possible. I have recently had to move up to low doses of morphine to combat pain from my migrines. It feels like the end of things and not a cure. We shall both hang in there though. sam
