Thank you
I observe the Sabbath too, as a new convert to Messianic Judaism, am a Christian with a small group of others about the Hebrew roots of our faith. I will visit your blog often as I know it will help me to learn more. Thank you.

Shabbat Shalom, to you too my friend! I adore this blog! I am learning so much about your faith! I appreciate it so much! It makes me feel learned. I do my work in the Holy Bible but I have a deep appreciation for Israel!
The reason the poem fit you is it written about my two sons. They were high adventure guys like your sons. I always said tell me when it is over, not what you are going to do! Love to you Mal! sammy

Although I am actually aware of all Jewish holidays and of course
the Sabbath ritual (my aunt is responsible for that and boy can she cook!) it is always interesting to read a factual account of how this came about; many blessings and thanks for sharing

I love the fact that the Sabbath was actually made at creation before Jew
or Gentile, so it was made for all. Jesus said, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." I observe the 7th day Sabbath weekly as a Seventh-day Adventist and really enjoyed this piece.
