Uhhh, thanks, I think.  But I've become pretty comfortable in the skin of my own particular brand of insanity -- reflecting on the hand I've been dealt, how I've misplayed it at times, and what my next move might be.  Whatever I end up doing, it won't be a fold.  I apologize to you and any other readers if I've been coming across as a whiner while trying for a little tongue-in-cheek commentary.  In fact I was a paid participant in two of the three phases of the Duke University Smile Study several years ago -- an eye opening experience.  Since then I've returned to the profession of journalism and columnist, a livelihood I've fallen back on several times through the past forty-some-odd years.  Most of what I do here is for fun as well as practice for a novel I've also been playing with off and on for almost as many years.  The novel may never be finished, but Blogit has been a lot of fun as a platform for venting, experimentation, and socialization.  I appreciate the offer of assistance, but am comfortable with my own form of self therapy.  Thanks for stopping by and commenting.  I hope you'll visit again and, perhaps, find the experience more satisfying.

Are you looking for a therapist?

I hear your complaints, but you have to have some meat in your message.  No one wants to hear you journal unless you put it under journal.  That is apersonl diary of your events in life and how you feel about them.  Perhaps that would be better than placing it in nonfiction.  I have worked as a counseling psychologist and was curious.  Good luck.

Thanks again, sam
Especially considering that I goofed and didn't change the category as I said I was going to.  That's taken care of now.  I'd like for you to know that part of the reason I chose the Nonfiction category was that I felt any category blessed by your presence would be sure to send an occasional click to others occupying the same neighborhood.
