Years ago, I had a concept I called "walking meditation'

and shortly afterwards, first heard of the concept of that name by this teacher.

The concept I had was that one can be in that meditative state while on one's feet, going about one's day and activities: keeping just a part of one's mindfulness on the Big Picture, while dealing with all the personal bits and details.

Partly I needed this because I have a hard time sitting myself down and meditating in a traditional quiet pose.  And partly it was in the service of mindfulness as a constant rather than occasional thing.

Is this concept similar?

Pat B, I am so pleased to share this with you and love your
appreciaiton.  I feel this is my greastest gift to and from Blogit - to be able to share my life with people I have never met, in any part of the world.  Yet, we are connected to each other is more ways we can imagine, and can inspire each other too.  Cheers.

OTA. I am so glad you enjoyed the pictures.
I am not sure if the kites have any special significance.  Thank you for appreciating them.

TAPS. Thank you
Often I am shy of taking people pictures, as I feel its an intrusion - especially those I don't know or where there is no known relationship or class differences or heirarchies. But, I do like photographing people, in on-posed situaitons.  Cheers.

Great pictures, Greenfields.  I really loved looking at the various people, facial expressions, and garments.  It made me realize that I seldom take pictures of persons.  I seem to focus on nature more than anything.
